Groebenzell, Munich Projekt 03.10.2013 – 30.10.2013

We safely arrived in Munich in the morning around 7 am. We had to transit
for two times; in Bangkok and in Doha, Qatar. The airline is very good in fact.
Unfortunately, 4 people from us were sick and were quite uncomfortable because
of the running nose and problem with the pressure. Nevertheless, we are
survived and safely arrived here.
After the flight I was not sleepy at
all, which is totally different from my host family. My host partner, Mascha,
was there with her father (my host father), Wolfram. Another German who was
there at the beginning was Christoph. We greeted each other shortly and were
both extremely excited. Mascha and I waited for the other German students for a
while and then went home.
As usual on the Autobahn my host dad
drove the car approx. 140-180 km/h. WOOH
:D FASTT We live in Puchheim, which located in the west of Munich. It is around
25 minutes away from the city.
The house is literally cool.
Handmade artworks are everywhere, from woods and other materials. I love that!
We had a breakfast together with my host mother, sister and a friend from my
host sister. The breakfast was pretzels, bread, jams etc. I really like German
breakfast because it is always numerous and delicious. My host parents asked me
about the food in Thailand and my host sister (Jule) too. Jule is a model and
she seems to like Asian culture very much.
After the breakfast I had a short
break and then went to the Zoo with Mascha. Mascha explained the function of
the S-Bahn and U-Bahn to me. It is quite complicated for me, but I will try. I
tried to remember the names of the stations and the name of the train. But my
problem is the platform. I am not sure which platform should I go because I
have never been alone until now. So, maybe after the school I will survey the
system a little bit. I am so excited.
We went to the zoo named Hellabrunn.
It is really big with a lot of animals. Later Nohn and Sebastian joined us too.
We saw a lot of animals, such as elephants, rhinos, sharks, fishes, flamingos, Erdmaennchen, goats etc. This Zoo located near the Isar River. This river is extremely beautiful. There
is a beach where people can grill or picnic. Besides, the river is very clear.
After the long walk in the zoo we
all took the U-Bahn to eat running sushi, which is near the University. It was
REALLY good evening. We arrived at the restaurant at 5 pm and the restaurant
opens at 5.30 pm. We sit on the steps and waited, say ‘Servous’ and ‘Gruess
Gott’ to people who passing by. I find it really funny because Mascha and
Sebastian enjoyed and wanted to try the exotic food as much as they can. It
cost relatively expensive, therefore we eat, eat, eat and eat. Sebastian ate
more than Mascha, Nohn and I together. We talked and made a lot of stupid things
together. I feel like we know each other for a long, long time already but in
fact it is only the first day. Es war Hammer!
