[ENG] Munich Project: Day 23

Friday, 25.10.2013
So today is my last day in the school. I have to say good bye to some people. I might not meet them again in my whole life. But who knows? Maybe we meet each other again somehow somewhere in this world. However, I hate saying good bye without knowing when we will meet each other again. I hate it. This time is better than last time because I was here for a year and not a month. My last time was very difficult and painful.

Today I got the marks for the German test. I got surprisingly B2. Everyone is very good and I think our German improved a lot, especially understanding. Actually I don't have to translate all the time. Everyone understands Germany pretty good but they are not confident of themselves. I noticed this because they asked me if they understood something right and mostly is correct. They just want someone to make sure.

We will go to Salzburg on Tuesday and not this Saturday because of the train. So tomorrow we will film a music video. It is my idea to do this and Mascha agrees with me. But it seems that not everyone wants to do this. So I am quite not confident to do this activity. I want to do it of course but when someone doesn't want to, is it going to be so boring for them? I want to make a video of us anyway. Therefore it will be great when we actually film something together as memory for example.

We left the school very early because we had appointment with Con drops which located near the Stachus. It is the institute for advice and helping the people who addict to the drugs and alcohol. This topic is quite interesting for me. The people who addict to drugs look completely normal. Maybe they are teachers, students or even doctors. The most addiction in Germany is alcohol. From 80 million people there are 3 million people who are alcoholic and more people who drink too much alcohol but they are not sick.
We played a bit game which they play with the patients too. Many patients are between 25-35 years old and they are here by themselves. They want to be healthy again. Just a few people who are forced to be cured.

Then we met Patrick and had lunch. Around 3 pm. we visited the ASL language institute in Muenchener Freiheit. The chief of the institute gave us some advice and ways how to study here. How is the process to study in university, for instance. I can't wait to study here anymore, but the most difficult point is to find place to sleep. This is very crazy in Munich. Oh God. Some students have to sleep in the sport hall because they don't have place to sleep. Crazy.

At the evening I went to have dinner with my host father, Mascha and Linus. We went to the Chinese restaurant that my host family knows very well. The food was very tasty and I was full. I am so happy <3

[ENG] Munich Project: Day 22

Thursday, 24.10.2013
Good Evening.
Today I slept more than last 2 days. That's why I'm not much sleepy like yesterday. But today we all overslept, that's pretty funny. lol I love this family so much. They're very unique.

Anyway, I was in the school on time (very surprising). We did things about the 'Reflexive Verben' which is quite difficult for me too. There are no exact rules for this one. I hate it! So we got many exercises for this topic and homework too.

After German was sport. It was sport with grade 12 and we didn't know them actually. This time is table tennis. I was pretty excited but we did lots of technique and warm up. It would be really good when time is enough for playing too. I like table tennis anyway.

During the break I have never thought that the teacher would take the case paper-shooting chaos in grade 8 this serious. It was not nice but it was not that bad. I have seen many good things in Germany, so I know that would not be the bad side of Germany or something like that.

Today the Thais went to St. Johannes church with Max. The priest was very nice to us. He explained a lot about Christianity in English and also showed us the organ inside the church. This church is Protestant and quite modern. It looks not old like other churches in Germany. That means that the church adapts to world all the time. We sang the songs in English too with organ. I have never done this before. It's great.
The priest explained how the church service runs every Sunday with his special dress. Then he explained the history of the Jesus Christ and why he believes in God.

The club is near by the church. There are rooms for kids and the youth. There are many games and other facilities. So the church community is more like family. They go to holiday together in summer for example. Besides, there is the class for learning about God and his lessons too for the youth.

[ENG] Munich Project: Day 21

Good Afternoon!
I got the German test already. Mrs.Tinhofer said I could pass to the B2 level, although I didn't take the B2 exam yet because the exam is only until B1. I was quite surprised that she gave me B2 instead of B1. But that's a good news.

ANd the next class I was so happy that I could play baseball again. Jinny was also very happy and excited. Today I can hit the ball a lot better than the last time. It was really cool <3 I ran a lot today because I understand the rules more now. When I get back to Thailand I have to play baseball again! At least one time!! But somehow I run in strange way. My legs hurt when I run like the muscles are injured. Maybe because I ran too fast and immediately. Besides, I didn't warm up before the game. Whatever.

After sport class the Thais, Lavinia and Ina took the train and subway to the special school for handicapped people. We ate pretzel, chocolate, sweets and drank some tee there. We were very surprised about this. In other words, we didn't expect to have something to eat there. lol

Anyway, a teacher ("Bezieherin", they give the therapy for the students) and the chief of the school explained firstly about the school system in Bavaria. The education system in Germany is different and depends on each state. In Bavaria is very good. Everyone in this state has right to go to school, whether you are healthy or handicapped. This special school (Silvia-Goerres Schule) is for the mental-handicapped students and most of them are difficult. I have to translate from German to Thai all the time, but that's a good experience for me and I also undertood what the teachers said better. If I didn't understand, I would not be able to translate to anyone.

We played with the students for a while. I noticed that it is quite sad for me to see but then it was good for remembering me how lucky I am that I can do things with my own body without difficulties. A lot of things to realize about life. Interesting.

The teachers showed us the rooms, classes and the swimming pool. We can control the depth of the pool too. This thing seems to be very high technology for me. lol I have never seen the pool like this before. Cool.
The best room that I have seen is the room for relaxing. Everything in room was white, the sofa had the warm water inside and move and massage us when we lay down on it. The music, the light and the water with color. Perfect!

In the evening I skyped with my parents in Thailand. My host parents and Mascha also talked with my parents. haha It was very nice.

[ENG] Munich Project: Day 20

Good Afternoon everyone.
I got up a bit earlier than yesterday, so I had more time to pack my school bag. Yesterday Mascha's uncle was here too. In the morning we had Weisswurst (white sausages). Now my favourite German food has changed to Weisswurst officially! lol

The Thais had the official final German test. I took 3 tests: A1, A2 and B1. I finished all of them in 30-40 minutes and then I took a nap for the rest of the time. I find B1 a little bit difficult but it was not too tough. After the test I was so sleepy and the other Thais too. Mrs. Tinhofer noticed this sleepy atmosphere in the class, therefore she let us to have break earlier than usual 10 minutes. Mrs.Tinhofer is very nice to us.

I finished all of my German homework in the cantine, the other Thais too. We have prepared the questions for the interview already. It was quite chill in the cantine.

The next class I was in Grade 10 with Kie. This class I didn't know them before because they just switched the class yesterday. The old group study French and the another group has English. It was about the book 'The Giver' again. I didn't do many things during the class. That's why I was a bit bored.

After the lunch the Thais went to the Waldorf Kindergarten with Levin and Mauritius. The interview was good, not too much I think. We looked around the kindergarten and asked about the Waldorf theory. I find this theory very interesting because it is about the nature and human. They live together with harmony and the theory about the soul and the body. Very interesting.

The program finished very fast because we didn't have to take the s-Bahn to somewhere else, the Kindergarten is not so big and the questions were not that much.

Afternoon I was with Billy and Kie in Simon's house because I wanted to see how they work with the photos from film. It was the first time in my life that I watched this process with my own eyes. Mr.Obermueller can make the black-white color because other colors are relatively complicated and requires lots of time.

[ENG] Munich Project: Day 19

*for day 17-18 is in my German blog *

Monday, 21.10.2013
It was so embarrassing that I overslept this morning. I woke up half an hour later than normal. My body is tiered inside because I didn't sleep as much as I need for a week or two. That's why I am quite sleepy lately. :( But in other hand I want to spend life in Munich as much as I can. I don't want to stop experiencing things, doing things that I have never done before in my life, or spend time with my host family at home.

The German class is like always, pronunciation exercise. In my opinion, the most difficult point for the Thais is German 'R'. Normally we speak Thai R like the Bavarian or Latin America (we pronounce with tongue) and not like the German R (or French R) which they pronounce it behind the tongue. For me this problem is already solved because I practiced it at home for two days I think. If anyone wants to practice too, I recommend this video on YouTube. (Yes, I practiced everything from YouTube. lol)

Today I was with Kie in Grade 8 English class. It was extremely chaos. They (tried to) study about If-clause and the students should make some sentences. I was so bored because in the class was so loud and noisy. Besides they shoot pieces of paper with the slingshot over the head. I was shot 2 times at the head. It was not funny. Then I got out of the class 10 minutes before time up because I don't see why I should be there anymore.

Our next activity was in Fair Trade shop in Munich. I translated the information for the Thais during the activity there. It was new experience to translate like this because I have never ever thought that one day I will be able to translate things like this. Never. I think from German to Thai is more difficult than from Thai to German.

Anyway, this fair trade system is very interesting. This system began after the World War II. I totally degree with this system because it gives chance and opportunity for the farmers or the people who really produce things, not the dealers. In Africa or Asia there are many children who have to work (illegal) or the people are forced by the dealers or big company and get just few money. When people get the fair money, they will have chance to study and get the good education. Then in the third world country there will be more the middle class. The country can develop by the middle class more than just few high class.

[ENG] Munich Projekt: Day 16

Good Evening everyone.
Today is really awesome. We had German class, chorus and then time for homework and blogs. Chorus was quite boring because of the songs I think. I almost slept while I was singing. But the only one song that I like is Africa. The melody is very beautiful.

The Thais had free time because it - is - Friday! We went to the BMW Welt together with Mascha, Lavinia and Christoph. The weather is very good. The sun shines and the sky is blue. Then we met my host father (Wolfram) who works here for BMW. Wolfram explained us about the story of the buildings like why or how are they built. The BMW office are made from the top to the ground. That is unbelievable. The architecture of the BMW Welt building is also fascinating. The tornado part means dynamic and the tornado comes from wind and water. So the rest of the building looks like the water and wind which are floating. This is the main concept of the BMW cars too. The surface of the cars is never plain like the other cars. They have waves like the water.

This bridge is the longest bridge in Germany which is held by the thin string from the roof. There aren't any poles under the bridge. So when we jump on the bridge, the bridge will swing / move a little bit too. The BMW Welt was built and has only several poles. BMW wants to make inside wide and smoothly floating like the water. Thus, they tried to build with less poles as possible.

We went to the motorcycles first. From the first sight we ran straight to the motorcycles and made photos with them happily. There are so many beautiful motorcycles. But I think for the big motorcycles like this I couldn't ride them for sure because they are quite difficult to ride and expensive.

The next one was the cars. Everyone was quite active and excited especially Christoph. lol The visitors are allowed to get into the cars and take photos with them. There were not only BMW cars but also Mini and Rolls Royce. There were also racing games and I played one time. It was quite difficult.
I have seen the cars which are built from carbon and fibers called BMW i8. They are really IMPRESSIVE. They are light and not heavy like the cars from steels. I proved that already by lifting the steel and carbon-fiber. Really impressive innovation. The doors open up to the sky like the wings of the birds. I wanttttttt to open the door! Just one time in my life!

The preview of BMW i8

Unfortunately, the tornado closed at 6 pm. and we did not visit it. Maybe we will come here in Olympia Park again because we want to play ice-skate here. Everything was closed very early today because tomorrow will be the big classic music event in the BMW Welt. I have seen the red grand piano. It was so beautiful but I couldn't play it. T^T

It was already dark outside when we got out of the BMW Welt. We went to the Olympia Stadion which was the place where the Olympic was held in year 1974. There are swimming pool, a lake and the hall where many events or concert are held.

One of the best thing today is the moon. It is somehow mysteriously beautiful. I can't express how I feel with the moon today but it is mesmerized. The sky is also colorful today.

Today is a very nice day!
