[ENG] 09.03.2014 Chiang Mai Part

It's Sunday that the Germans looked forward to. In the morning we went to Doi Suthep and showed the exchange students the view of Chiang Mai city. Unfortunately, it was sunny and seemed to be too hot for them. At the temple, we did a Buddhist ceremony and discussed a bit about religion. The Germans claimed that Buddhism was quite open and free for the people more than Christianity and a bit more realistic. I think every religions have more or less supernatural stuff. I don't know why but it's true. Buddhism also has many supernatural things, believes or stories. Human likes miracles.

We travelled down the mountain with a red taxi which was the Germans' favorite part. They loved to catch the red taxi. I smiled that they were happy from little things like traveling around with Thai transportation lol.

We visited the Chiang Mai Zoo afterwards. The Germans wanted to visit the Aquarium but unfortunately, the ticket costed pretty too expensive. So we decided to walk around the Zoo instead. Inside, we found out that the Zoo was very big and had to catch the bus or train for watching the animals. We had to pay again for the buses and trains. We walked and saw birds, penguins, leopards, lions, etc. Christoph wanted to see the panda and unfortunately again, we had to pay the new ticket for it. This really pissed us off because we had to pay this and that all the time even though we paid the entrance ticket already. Anyway, Christoph, Mascha, and Pinky went to watch the pandas.
The pandas were cute that Christoph wanted to hug them;)

Then we went to buy stuff for the Hill Tribe children shortly then went straight to the Walking Street. The Germans enjoyed the market very much especially Mascha and Lavi. lol They were shopping queens that night. I also bought a lot of stuff but could not compared to those two queens.
